Established in 2007, the Department aims to improve the employability of computing graduates through curriculum innovations in group and project work. This includes a states-of-art learning laboratory where projects can be conducted in collaboration with students.

We promote learning based on friendly and informal relations between students and staff. Department has full time well qualified faculty members to provide you profound knowledge in your courses. They have done funded research projects, copyrights, published books and research papers. We have reputation for teaching and research, so it stands to reason that our students go on to find employment in challenging and fulfilling careers.

Ours is the only Autonomous College in Amravati region which is offering technical courses like B.C.A., B.Sc. (Comp. Sci.), M.Sc. (Comp. Sci.) in faculty stream of Science & Technology having the academic freedom. We have reputation for teaching and research, so it stands to reason that our students go on to find employment in challenging and fulfilling careers.

We are the pioneering institute to successfully implement NEP 2020 in our Programmes since 2023-2024. The Autonomous status helps us to update our syllabus up to the mark as per the requirement of the industry standards.

College has 21 MoU’s with other organizations/companies which help in student’s placement. Our student’s are placed in esteemed organizations like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Tata Consultancies Limited, Cognizant Technology Solutions, ATOS, etc.

We also strongly promote research among our students and near about 5 to 10 projects are presented every year in University level Aavishkar competition. We take efforts to organize IT tour, Guest lectures and Workshops for bringing you the information related to cutting edge technology. We also promote health and fitness in our students by offering them sports courses in their Open Electives and providing them concession in various sports activities practiced in the campus for daily coaching.

HVPM and DCPE are practicing and propogating the Indian traditional sports, games and culture since its establishment. Tours have been organized to all Indian states and about 25 foreign countries. DCPE has collaborated with HVPM’s IKS center to design the basket of IKS courses in our programmes. This helps our students to explore the new subjects used in the industry and thus helps them for getting good placements in reputed Companies or for further studies.
